Megiva (Commenting)
"Megiva" (replying / commenting in Hebrew) is a fictional web character, creating illustrated webcomics replies to posts uploaded to Facebook & Instagram.
Even though we upload content to social media in order to be seen and heard, the endless amount of content uploaded and the sterile unified design of it, doesn't allow us to truly do so. Therefore, I wanted to create a platform that would allow digging deeper into content we usually scroll through casually. The "grungy" design I chose for my comic was aiming to contrast the sterile and clean design that characterises social media.
The project raised conversation among local Instagram influencers, one of the posts was featured as a poster in the "Moses Art Gallery" at the 2020 POP- UP museum in TLV.
