Igor / Lena Dunham
During a booklet illustration course in HIT, we were asked to choose a story and illustrate it. I chose to illustrate a chapter from Lena Dunham's "Not That Kind Of Girl", dealing with Dunham's teenage online relationship with a guy named Igor.
The illustration language chosen, was meant to convey the naivety of Lena's young love. Mixing computerised illustration with hand drawings and textures allowed me to emphasise the fact that this relationship existed in two dimensions - the digital one and the physical one
